Abstract

Mario de Miguel concentrates his intervention on defining the meaning of the term "quality" when applied to education, emphassing the importance of the stages making up the phases of the process and of the results. However, the author mainly underlines the need to create a series of precise and definite indicators for objectifying quality, since internal assessment is the only instrument that permits the derection of erroneous trajectories and that can bring them back into line with that set down by the central project
