Abstract

The subject of study dealt with in this report is the legal and political status of the Basque Country insofar as the construction, development and enforcement of Spanish Constitutional Law and EC-EU Law are concerned. This question also comprises the essential content and main remit of the Proposal for a Political Statute for the Basque Country approved by the Basque Parliament at the end of 2004 (rejected in 2005 by the Spanish Parliament).
