Abstract

In the first international congress of Philology it was decided to request that the Society of Nations published a linguistic Atlas with a compilation of phonogrames. Spitzer says that it would be better to publish a dictionary and a grammar than an atlas, but if only on of these options could be published, the best is to opt for the dictionary and the grammar
