Abstract

The transcription of the documents of the Camera – Villages Series, corresponding to places in the province of Gipuzkoa deals with matters such as the following: problems reference to property limits, single or community ownership, patronage of churches, convenience of public works, help in case of aggression by the French, confirmation of certain privileges and confirmation of Provincial Parliament decisions. Also included are supplication memoirs or appeals to the Crown by any neighbour or institution. Their contents are documented in the files in the simplest form to which frequently are added documents that reinforce or support the supplications and the Royal resolution in the form of a writ by the Secretary of the Council.
