Although the Government of the Popular Party may have withdrawn from the Decree that was approved in May 2002, one can still appreciate substantial changes in the new legal text in comparison with the previous situation. For this reason, the idea has not been to examine the new law without any criteria, but rather to adopt a certain perspective that introduces the optics of the transformations brought about by economic globalisation.
