La música en el Ejército Vasco(1936-1937)

Abstract

This work studies a chapter of Basque musical history which had rarely beencovered until now, that of music in the Basque Army during the Civil War. In this study we recover the history of musical groups that were created by the different military forces that arose from parties and trade unions. We will also highlight the varied musical repertoire that was heard in the autonomous Euzkadi (Basque homeland) of1936-1937.
