Abstract

This paper shows the visual sources used by teh author of the Añes mannerist altarpiece to painting the Crist's Birthood and the Epiphany (Fine Arts Museum, Vitoria-Gasteiz). They are two Jan Sadeler's engravings based on the Martin de Vos compositions from a collection dedicated to the Crhist's Childhood that got a large diffusion at that time
