Abstract

The current malnutrition epidemic is the result of multiple factors and itrepresents the human affectation of unsustainable development, with the samereasons. The consequences are unpredictable as it will be difficult for the different economies to bear its costs. The individual alternatives are limited, as the situation needs to be tackled from an individual but, at the same time, community-oriented perspective, in which the population becomes involved.
