Abstract

This article shows the need to use a multidisciplinary basis of knowledge in the making of positions related with the management of fishing resources. The need to include the knowledge of fishermen if the intention is to increase the legitimacy of the process is becoming ever more evident, as is the need to motivate fulfilment of regulations by fishermen.
