Abstract

This article shows the peculiarities of the Basque film Ama Lur (1968) analysing both its premier's media impact by means of an analysis of the texts that appeared in the press and the magazines of that time, and the historiography which was the result of the works by various theorists – such as Zunzunegui or De Pablo – who make reference to that documentary film at any given time as from the nineteen seventies to the present day.
