El niño hospitalizado: opiniones de los padres y de los niños

Abstract

In the present article the author exposes the rights of the hospitalised child, both those contained in European instruments and those contained in the legislation of the Basque Autonomous Community. The author also analyses the fulfillment of such norms in a series of hospitals in Spain. Therein after, in order to know the opinions of the children he uses a series of polls made to a group of 1,300 children, and a series of compositions in which they express "how they percieve the hospital". The author also collects the opinions of the parents of recently-born babies and babies in nurseries on their children's stay in hospital.
