Abstract

In this article the author reviews the legal and ethical aspects of cloning by nuclear transfer. After an dissertation on the use of such techniques in human reproduction and its limitations, both in the technical and legal fields, the author studies the various applications for treatment on human beings, in the mitochondrial diseases and its possible use in cellular cultivation for transplants.
