Distribución y biometría del género crocidura (Wagler 1832) en el País Vasco

Abstract

The present work analyzes the distribution and biometry of C. russula and C. suaveolens in the Basque Country starting out from materials proceeding from clews of nocturnal rapaceous and from traps. First of all, the judgement of discrimination given by several authors are reviewed and news characters that will help to the separation of both species ara planed. C. russula is showed as a cosmopolitan specie that presents high percentages of presence and polyecologist whose biometry varies with ambiental factors. C. suaveolens is a more exigent specie in order to its occupied habitats and biometricaly the values given by the basque population are superiors to the rest of the iberian populations
