Official URL: http://www.euskomedia.org/analitica/3592 AbstractMusic in this parish church kept a high level, mainly in the XVIIIth century, and decreased in the following century, due to the disentailment of the Church´s properties. This works is structured in five parts: 1) Episcopal regulations on the matter of singing. 2) The organ and organists, with the evolution of the baroque organ towards the romantic one, by the Monturus, french organists, adding competition examinations, other exams and apointment of organists. 3) The evolution of the musical chapel, its members, which at a summit moment, numbered as far as 10 the instruments used and the repertoires of vocal music. 4) The way in which religious festivities should be celebrated, with dances receding and the turning up of bagpipers. 5) The books of the choir, specially those of the XVIIIth century and their authors, a Mass by the Count of Peñaflorida included and a parchment sheet from a Missal with Aquitaine annotations, XIIIth and XIVth centuries. Several documents are included at the end, with restoration plans and budgets for the organ appointments, exams and duties of the organists the works composed for the Parish by one of them and a catalogue of musical works found in the Archives of the Parish
