Ocupación del tiempo libre en la juventud vasca

Abstract

In this study 1.603 subjects (976 males and 627 females ranged in age from 14 to 24), students of Basque Community (Province of Biscay), were administered a leusire and recreation test, in order to determine the major preferences of young people in leisure, recreation and sport activities. Based on the findings drawn from this investigation, which are supported by similar results of other related studies, the following conclusions may be drawn: for the aged studied, team sports are preferred by boys, and individuals by girls on the other hand, as a negative aspect, young people´s demands are mainly for drinking outside the home
