In this sense, the Aquitaine is militating before the French State and the European Commission in favour of the development of an international coastal trade and in favour of the emergence of an Atlantic freight corridor. With this in mind, it has approached the neighbouring Basque Country in order to create the Aquitaine - Basque Country logistic platform, a structure for the promotion of their combined transportation equipment.
