Abstract

Many of the Hispanic historiographic currents have their incidence in the protagonism of neogothicism and Mediterranean acculturation in the explanation of the gestation and consolidation of the medieval kingdom of Pamplona. In this work the author asserts that the main economic and cultural references on the topologic and chronological origin of the kingdom of Pamplona, the same as that in the Gipuzkoan territory should be seen from a northern Pyrenaic orbit that is not exclusively limited to Gascoigne but that goes throughth is Basque territory.
