Abstract

University-industry collaboration and technology diffusion are complex social communication processes across the boundaries of different systems with different objectives and rationalities. Symplifying interpretations, concepts and approaches will not lead to success in terms of industrial innovation and competitivity but will lead to failure and thus widen the gap between the industrial and the academic world. Technology transfer is interpreted as a complete process of innovation and technology diffusion.
