Abstract

In this paper, professor Hronszky gives a general overview of technology as a problematic issue in society. Historically, from the XVIth artisan's struggle to DDT side effects, there had been many conflicts between society and technological development. There has been a great number of efforts for a theoretical harmonisation but the main propose of that paper, is to get a balanced point of view, between too much pessimistic and confident attitudes.
