Abstract

Ibáñez de la Rentería (1751-1826) is one of the most qualified personalities with respect to Basque illustration. An unpublished report that refute the arguments put forward by the Board for the Reform of Abuse of the Royal Treasury of the Basque Provinces is transcribed. It gives information about the ideological and political discourse of the governing elite in Biscay at the time of liberal revolution
