Abstract

Reflections on the article by Saroïhandy on the modifications undergone by Latin words, if such modifications are due to Basque phonetics it is because the Basque language used to be spoken all over the region some time ago. Vinson does not consider the relation between the Iberian and the Basque language as proven, but he does consider Basque to be the only one remains of the languages used in prehistory
