Abstract

This article includes a document from the Archives of Bayonne. It is a peace treaty signed in 1328 by the sailors in Bayonne and Biarritz and by those of Donostia - San Sebastián. The representatives of the latter city have Gasconian names and the document is written in Gasconian. This proves that at the beginning of the 14th century there were people from Gascony living in Pasaia and in Donostia-San Sebastián
