Abstract

Similar study to the one carried out in 1913 on the surnames that appear in the list of youths examined for military service in 1914. The Basque surnames constitute 64.1%, and there are 48% of youths with both surnames in Basque and 26% with both surnames not Basque. Surname prefixes and suffixes are studied
