Biography of Pierre Haudaudine also known as the "Régulus Nantais", a merchant with a considerable fortune who was born in Bayonne in 1756 and who died in 1846. Haudaudine was caught by the Vendéens and freed under parole together with another two people so that he could ask for an exchanged of prisoners and in the event of this request being denied, he was to come back as a prisoner.
