Abstract

The association Euskal Esnalea was set up during a meeting held in Zumarraga. The aim of the association is to ensure the resurgence of the Basque language. Several decisions were taken in order to work towards this aim, such as holding meetings, editing publications, etc. Several important personalities of the era took part in the meeting, as well as representatives from several newspapers.
