Abstract

The ethnologic thesis of various authors to explain the origin of the Basque people and their language are mentioned. These thesis have almost always been based on the linguistics but they should begin to rely on the Archaeology and the Anthropology. the Prehistory of the Basque Country according to the Ethnology and to the Archaeology is presented. It appears a new science that it is the study of the folklore, the mores, etc., it is called Ethnography and it can be useful for the study of the Basque origin
