Abstract

This communication has the objective of analysing three aspects of women in Navarre. First, we shall discover the image projected in the press and other publications, and then we shall see its ideologisation and, nally, we shall studied the liberal political commitment of some Navarran women over this period. We maintain that quite a lot of women supported liberalism even though they lacked political freedom.
