Abstract

The author wishes to introduce a general inventory of the funds of reference files to his correspondence in Paris, Bayona or San Juan de Luz. Various forms of research are considered in order to ascertain how this material can be used to determine the function of cultural intermediary performed by Antoine d'Abbadie in the 19th century Basque Country.
