Abstract

The objective of this article is to research the importance of engravings as an indispensable source of works of art. Concretely we have wanted to emphasise the importance of Nordic and Flemish scenes in the paintings of these lands by means of the set of pictures that make up the altarpiece of the Virgin of the Rosary of the Santa María church in Salvatierra.
