Abstract

The objective of this article is to rethink Jorge Oteiza’s figure as a creator and to consider the significance reached by the opposition of two of its fundamental concepts (matter - time, space - vacuum) in the development of his work and thinking. There is also the objective of introducing a mystical perspective as one of the keys for the interpretation of his sculpture.
