Abstract

The object of the present article consists of analysing the situation of the polemics of Basque-Iberianism in the framework of Godoy’s policy (1803), and more concretely by means of apologies of the Basque language written during that year by Lorenzo Hervás y Panduro, Pablo Pedro Astarloa and Juan Antonio Moguel.
