Abstract

This letter, that is kept in the Provincial Archives of Zamora, provides us with quite a lot of data about Pablo Pedro Astarloa and Wilhelm von Humboldt. It discloses certain unknown aspects from the first period of the life of the Biskaian apologist, interesting details of his years as a student and of his character, as well as interesting clafifications about his relationship with the eminent Prussian.
