Abstract

The present study tries to analyse the importance of the social centres of the Basque Nationalist Party between 1931 and 1936 as centres of sociability and as attraction for the affiliation. The possible causes of the monthly adscription rates to the Basque Nationalist Party are also analysed, together with the importance that these social centres had in certain typical municipalities.
