Abstract

This work is centered in the analysis of the appointment system and definition of the Commissioners of the National Bank of San Carlos, first public bank of Spain. From these channels it is tried to analyze the paper of Francisco Cabarrús and, mainly, the success of the system of agents delegated by means of a commission. The paper of these agents ran parallel to the good welcome of the capital transmissions of this new organization and, at the same time, in activities related to the process of export of Spanish silver to Europe by means of the commissioner of Bayonne (France).
