Abstract

Martin Elso explains that although the region currently located on the other side of the frontier of Dancharinea belongs to Navarre and this side to Lapurdi, history shows that Ainhoa was founded by the abbey of Urdax (situded on the other side of the frontier) and that its territory was long ago a Navarran dominion.
