Abstract

For Manuel de Irujo Basque Law is completely original, as is demonstrated by the "resignation to theright to conquest" as collected in the precepts of the "Arbol Malato". On the other hand, the conservation and cultivation of the Basque language as a living language constitutes the best contribution that the Basques could make to universal culture.
