Abstract

History of the cultural and recreational society Euzko Txokoa in Buenos Aires, founded in 1939 after the end of the Spanish civil war. Euzko Txokoa does not have any dependency on any political party, which doesn't stop it from echoing the aspirations of the Basque people as refer to the recovery of their freedoms and traditional rights, and for its action it is inspired in democratic and republican principles that are congenital to the Basques.
