Abstract

The resources of agricultural development in the Basque Country are the subject matter of the workmade by Arnaud d'Abbadie and Jean Errecart. The rearing of bovines is in regression and the race called "blondaof the Pyrinees" must be selected; the rearing of pigs is satisfactory. It is still necessary, however; to eliminate mediocre grains. Finally, corn derivatives are assured for several years. General conclusion: tin spite of quality, there is no hope.
