Abstract

Jean Fourcade devotes his speech to rural agricultural and domestic training in the Basque Country, which has evolved enormously since 1945. He reviews the principal children's schools dedicated to this type of pedagogy and insists on the decisive action taken by some people like the general counsellor of the Canton de Saint-Palais, Jean Errecart, or agronomist engineer R.P. Gachiteguy.
