Abstract

Paul V. Creach offers us a very itemised study on the biology and the morphology of the sardine species captured in the Bay of Biscay, the length of which can oscillate between 9 and 19 cm. The sea bottom in the mentioned bay is the scene of a continuous renovation of the sardine population.
