Las calles como espacios públicos

Abstract

Following the thin line of the anthropological studies in urban environments, this essay propose to regard the streets as public spaces which express that kind of sociality made of circumstancial and not durable relations. At the same time, the suggestion is to appreciate the urban time-spaces as communicative fields, in the way that there we can see relations between the passerbies and between them and the built environment.
