In this work we are taking coastal fishing as a reference to analyse some of these problems, like for example legitimacy, the capacity to govern and the role of researchers. We also try to show how Social Sciences can be added to the interdisciplinary work without which, the heterogeneity and complexity of fishing can not be analysed in a global manner.
