This is due, to a large extent, to the professional and occupational reality in the media, for which, in the best of the cases, a single individual .the ecologist. dedicates his or her work to environmental information. This situation denotes notable deficiencies in terms of divulging the environment, not least of which are the lack of specialisation and the catastrophic and alarmist character of many news items. Thus the need for a specialised journalism, to disseminate spread updated, rigorous, scientific, contrasted and contextualised information on the environment.
