The first letter asks for the publication of the corrective to Antonio Pirala, civil Governor of Bizkaia, who made two mistakes in one of his speeches. Trueba denies that the number of foundries diminished with the invention of gunpowder and that there was no one left inBizkaia. On the other hand, the treatment that church antechambers got from the local lords was different from that described by Pirala
