Abstract

The author sketches Lekuona's facet as a historian and ethnographer, on account of his homage in Donostia - San Sebastián. Lekuona considers that in studying history, in addition to written documents, traditions, monuments, geography, ethnography, institutions must also be taken into account, etc. His work as an ethnographer had two parts: the gathering of materials, and the analysis and synthesis of such materials
