Abstract

This study includes the pieces of carved wood found in civilian and religious buildings in the Arcentales, Sopuerta and Galdames Valleys (15th century to the end of the 19th century). These elements are part of the buildings. Those most often found in civilian buildings are: corbels in the eavescorbels, balustrades, pillars, lintels and gables on the balconies. The religious buildings have corbels in the eaves, pulpits, choir balustrades, as well as pillars and lintels in the porticos. A study was not carried out on stealable goods in Parish Churches and Hermitages
