Pasión y Resurrección en la Pintura Alavesa : (siglos XIV-XVI)

Abstract

This work aims at offering a view of the representation of the subjects of Passion and Resurrection in paintings dating from the early middle ages and first decades of the 16th century in Alava. It briefly mentions the significance of scene, its sources, typology and first examples. Later the cases of Alava are described, both authoctonus as well as those imported during the period, comparing them iconographically with those from other areas
