Abstract

This estudy includes the wooden parts carved in civil and religious building in the Salcedo Valley (15th century until the end of the 19th century). These elements are part of the building and those most frequently found on civil building are: corbels on the eaves, corbels, balustrades, posts, lintels and gables on the balconies. The religious building have corbels on the eaves, pulpits, chorus railings, as well as posts and lintels in the porches. The altarpieces or parish churches and hermitages have not been studied
