Ermitas de Elgoibar

Abstract

In this present work we have gathered social and religious aspects related to the Hermitages in the town of Elgoibar, due to which we verified their present situacion, in situ, interviewing people who have seen them disappear and who continue providing a social and religious service to them. The necessary data was collected for obtainig the ground plans and elevation, and even building plans for some of them. We also took part in litugical ceremonies, especially during the festivities of its invocation with a view to the necessary graphic reports. Moreover, we contributed reseach carried out on archives to prove the existence of Hermitages which have disappeared and mentioned small curiosities about them.
