Abstract

Reproduction of the first known printed Basque book, the "Linguae Vasconum Primitiae" by Bernat d' Echepare in facsimile form. The author presents the biography of Echepare, where mention is made to the trial in which took part as a witness and after which he was arrested and incarcerated. The book contains religious and sentimental poems, and the author analyzes the metrics and mentions the existing issues
